Germany annual CPI inflation rises to 3.3% in September
Inflation in Germany, as measured by the change in the Consumer Price Index, climbed to 3.3% (preliminary) in September from 2.9% in August, Germany's Destatis reported on Wednesday.

British Pound rebounds against Japanese Yen as UK growth beats expectations
GBP/JPY rebounds sharply on Wednesday as the British Pound (GBP) strengthens across the board following an upward revision to UK economic growth. At the time of writing, the cross trades around 208.65 after recovering from 206.89 earlier in Asian trading hours, the lowest since December 2025.
